Night Horse Ride & Dinner dates 2016

 

 

Local or visitor, come and enjoy the night horse ride and dinner here at the Homestead.  The rides are run each month depending upon how many people book.  minimum numbers needed are 15 riders in total.  So even if there are 1 or more of you, please call and book as each person counts towards final numbers.  If you are visiting from another town or even if you’re a local, why not make a complete night or weekend and stay in one of the motel rooms at the Resort.

The ride includes the horse ride to the Susan River where you will enjoy the pumpkin soup and garlic bread, sit around the bonfire and meet new people.  When you leave the River to head home, it will more than likely be dark and either the moon or stars will accompany you along the way.  On arrival at the Homestead, come into the dining room to relish the BBQ buffet with bbq meats, hot food and a selection of salads and dessert may be apple pie or fruit salad.

The cost for the ride and meal is Adults $130 for riding, $45 not riding.  Children up to 14years of age $105 riding, $35 not riding.  The not riding people, will jump in the bus with us to go out to the river where we set up to serve the soup and meet the riders.  Accommodation & Breakfast per couple is $160.00

Bookings are essential and all payments need to be finalised 5 days before the night of the ride.  4pm arrival except for June and July rides which will be arrival at 3pm to leave the yards at 3.30pm.
